Sig Sauer is releasing a revised version of the Rattler pistol chambered in .300 Blackout. At a quick glance, we're only seeing a change to the design of the brace.

The old Rattler pistol had part number PMCX-300B-5B-TAP-PSB. The new Rattler has part number PMCX-300B-5B-TAP (UPC is 798681600182).

The new brace is a side fold version versus the telescoping brace on the old variant. The side folding version should shave about two inches on the overall length when folded versus the telescoping brace being fully retracted.

The new brace is being called a side folding PCB (Pivoting Contour Brace).

We don't have an ETA yet on shipping / availability but will post updates once available.

We've been expecting new releases for P365's, P320's, and rifles but we were not expecting Sig to release a new P210 variant. Today they've released a new lower price P210 model called the P210 Standard. It is made in the US.

The part number is 210A-9-B (UPC Code is 798681555468) and this model will be priced about 15% lower than the P210 Target (210A-9-TGT).

The new P210 Standard comes with standard grips and contrast sights instead of the target sights and grips on the target model. The Standard doesn't have front cocking serrations either (thanks to Jaybird679 at SigForum.com for catching that).

The spec sheet is below. We're going to be getting a very small allocation of these pistols and production will be very limited through the year so they won't be easy to obtain.

We've been posting photos on our Facebook and Instagram accounts showing off our new retail store and we wanted to share the photos on our website as well.

We've settled into our new building and are holding our soft open until some back ordered inventory arrives (many more firearms and about 20 full size safes). We're expecting to hold a large grand opening in late June and are working to finalize the dates. Once we've set the date we'll post an update.

Quick new product update!

We received news that Sig Sauer is going to be releasing an extended 15rd magazine for the P365. Obviously it will extend longer than the 12rd magazine. We're told they should start shipping from Sig sometime in the next couple months.

We don't have a photo yet but will post one as soon as we can obtain a mag or photo. We've got the new magazine listed on our website where you can enter your email address to get a stock notification. The part number is MAG-365-9-15.

Given the huge success of the P365 and popularity of the 12rd magazine, we are sure these will sell out pretty quickly. We've got a pretty large initial order in place so we hope to get an early delivery. If you need P365 12rd magazines, you can order them in our online store now. We also have the P365 handgun with free shipping!

In addition to the new magazine, we are also expecting new Coyote grip modules soon. Sig is actually releasing X-Carry and X-Full grip modules for the P320 but we're told that they'll be offering them in both small and large size which would be the first time they've offered multiple sizes.

If you aren't familiar, the grip size is the circumference of the grip. They offer small, medium, and large on their standard grips to accommodate differing hand sizes.

We've heard rumblings for the first part of this year that Sig was going to release a new P365 pistol but we didn't know what it would be. We saw some rumors that there might be a P365 Legion and then logically a longer slide would be awesome. Well that's what Sig is releasing... The P365 XL.

The part number is 365XL-9-BXR3 and UPC code is 798681618798.

The Sig Sauer P365 is a larger P365 with longer slide and taller grip. It has a 12rd flush fit magazine where the standard P365 has a 12rd magazine. Out of the box it comes with a flat trigger too!

Update 7/2/19: The first shipment of P365 XL pistols has been received and we shot some comparison photos between the P365 XL and regular P365. We also compare them with the various magazine offerings and show you the difference in size on the magazines.

Update 7/10/19: We had an opportunity to shoot a P365 XL and our initial impressions are excellent. We were able to confirm that you can swap slides on the P365 and P365 XL and they function flawlessly. The grip on the P365 XL feels excellent in your hand. The trigger is very crisp and the pistol really shoots well for a handgun that is still relatively small. We will post a video as soon as possible showing the slides swapped. There is still no word as of this update on ordering stand alone P365 XL grip modules, P365 XL slides or conversion kits, or 12rd flush fit P365 XL magazines. We will order and stock any of these components if and when they become available.

We just shared some exciting news we received on the release of Sig's P365 XL but that isn't the only new pistol coming out!

Sig Sauer also shared news that the next variant in the Legion is the Sig P320 X5. At a quick glance, I'd say it fits perfectly in the Legion series and looks incredible!

What you can't see in the photo is that this new XFIVE Legion weighs much more than current P320 X5 pistols by a whopping 7.9 ounces (it weighs 43.5 ounces). They accomplished this increase in weight by infusing Tungsten into the grip module. Sig is calling it a TXG Tungsten infused heavy XGrip module.

Since we aren't expecting to get an all metal grip module, this is definitely the next best thing! To put it into perspective, Walther's new Q5 Match Steel frame pistol weighs 41.6 oz empty. A P226 X5 Tactical weighs approximately 35.5 oz and a P220 10mm Legion weighs 44 oz so this is just a half ounce lighter.

The X5 Legion will be offered in high capacity and 10rd (AKA the I live in a liberal state version) variant. The high capacity magazine will hold 17 rounds and the base pads are aluminum. The other P320 mags. (17rd and 21rd) should work as well since the height hasn't changed.

This has been a pretty exciting week for Sig Sauer products! We saw the release of the P365 XL and P320 XFive Legion.

We received news today that we're going to be seeing new P320 X-Compact Grip Modules. The only caveat is that at this time, we can only obtain them for sale via the Armed Professional Program. If you aren't familiar with the Armed Professional Program, this is Sig's law enforcement / first responder program.

The take away here is that we're seeing small, medium, and large sized grips in multiple colors. We knew about the X-Carry grips being released in those sizes but now we know it isn't isolated.

Today Springfield Armory released a new pistol that they have been teasing for about a month called the Hellcat.

The Hellcat is essentially a direct competitor to Sig's P365. It is a micro-compact 9mm pistol with a flush fit 11rd magazine and extended length 13rd magazine.

There are two variations (one with and one without the optics cut).

Springfield Armory Hellcat vs Sig P365

Since the Springfield Armory Hellcat is a direct competitor to Sig's P365, we figured it would be helpful to compare some specifications and pricing.

One significant advantage to the P365 is the modularity that the interchangeable grips provide. You can buy a replacement grip module for the P365 for only about $25! This allows for a wide variety of customizations including stippling, Cerakoting, and changing height between the regular P365 and P365 XL.

Update 10-2-19: Springfield started shipping the Hellcat and we've received our first shipment containing a few units. We compared it to the P365 since they are the closest competitors. We shot a variety of photos to show the size differences and they are definitely close. The P365 really feels thinner in your hand even though it is very very close in width. The texture and angle of the grip probably accounts for that difference in the feel. The trigger on the Hellcat is pretty crisp with distinctive reset. The magazines definitely feel easier to load compared to P365 magazines. We were able to load 14 rounds in the 13rd magazine and even the 14th round felt easier to load than the 11th round on a 12rd P365 extended length magazine.  You can see the Hellcat magazine is .8" wide. We missed measuring the P365 magazine in our photo but we did measure it at .7975" wide.

Dan Wesson is releasing a new double stack pistol in 9mm and .40 S&W called the DWX. It is a cross between a Dan Wesson and CZ pistol. There will be full size and compact variants offered. Some parts (grips and magazine wells) are compatible with the DWX line and the full size will use mags based on the P09 / P-10 F. The compact will use a mag based on the CZ 75 Compact.

DESCRIPTION

It started as an experiment — a grand melding of Dan Wesson and CZ pistols. Borrowing the crisp single action fire control group of a DW 1911 and combining it with the ergonomics and capacity of a CZ, the resulting pistol emerged as something great.

Designed initially for competition use, the DWX has evolved into much more than that, with both full-size and compact variants. Its locked breech barrel system is simple, ditching the standard 1911 link system and using CZ-style takedown via the slide stop. With so many ways to tune and customize, the DWX is sure to shine in USPSA Limited Division!

Military Times posted this week about a new Sig P365 XL variant called the XLRX. We assumed Sig would release an XL with Romeo1 preinstalled and it looks like it is coming in the near future.

The P365 XL has the optics cut but for anyone that doesn't yet own the XL (but wants an optic) the pre-configured package will likely be cheaper.

We reached out to our Sig Sauer representative today to see if there was any news directly from Sig and we are told that nothing has been disseminated to the reps yet.

Given the expected price of the RomeoZero at roughly $200.00, we should see the packaged pistol / RomeoZero less than the combined selling price of that and the XL (the XL itself is $579.99). If they simply add the two together, the price would be $779.99.

It is that time of the year again when the holidays approach and manufacturers start to release their upcoming year’s catalog changes.

2020 is bringing pretty significant changes to Sig Sauer’s line. A wide variety of firearms are being discontinued with many fewer additions to fill those gaps.

We will try to outline the additions and model cancellations inline by family. Some of these are just revisions for the new Romeo1Pro optic replacing the standard Romeo1 models while we’re also seeing a couple new variants. For the most part, we are not flagging / including the 10rd state compliant versions in this list because it will bloat it further. We will probably add them as an addendum to this post in the comments following publication. The information we have available today may not be the final 2020 model list. Many manufacturers release new firearms at SHOT Show and NRA so we could see changes in addition to what we know about.

The RX variants are being replaced with Romeo1Pro models and the Lima P320’s have been pretty poor overall sellers. It is no surprise those are being dropped.

The following models are additions to the P320 line. The VTAC is not an addition but we’re flagging it here because up to this point, it could only be purchased through distributors. This made it much more difficult for large dealers to obtain (we buy directly from Sig). The RXP models below have a MSRP price of $999.99. The M18 MSRP is $679.99 and the TACOPS is $799.99.

SIG 716

The 716 line is getting gutted for 2020. We’ve seen slower sales on 716 rifles so we suspect the significant changes are the result of slow sales. These variants are hitting the chopping block:

SIG Suppressors

Sig gave us a glimpse of their new modular 9mm suppressor some time ago but it has not been available for sale / dealer purchase. Based on the changes to the 2020 price list we’ve received, we have to assume that Sig is either getting out of the suppressor game (seems unlikely) or they’re getting ready to release a whole new line of suppressors (but isn’t ready to pull the drapes off the new line). All the Sig suppressors have been removed from he 2020 price list with the exception of one, the SRD22X. We hope that there will be a surprise at SHOT Show but have no information at all on the subject. The following models are being discontinued:

It is frustrating to see so many great firearms being discontinued but we understand that it doesn’t make sense to waste manufacturing capability and planning on products that aren’t terribly popular. We will post additional updates as news becomes available.

We are getting closer to Christmas and we want to provide our customers with our recommended shipping time frames for receiving delivery by Christmas.

We first want to say that the week before Christmas will be very busy for merchants and carriers. We do not recommend trusting the delivery time frame estimates provided by USPS, FedEx or UPS. We saw all three carriers missing delivery commitments the week following Black Friday weekend.

If you want guaranteed delivery before Christmas, we recommend using the following carriers / dates:

USPS First Class
Place order by December 17. First class is not guaranteed and often takes five to seven days for delivery. If there is a surge in shipping, it is likely that First Class mail will be lower priority compared to Priority Mail. Note that there is no guarantee with USPS and you are better off selecting UPS Ground or AIR for the most reliable delivery time frame.

USPS Priority Mail
Place order by December 18. USPS is generally two to three business days from our location to the east or west coasts but with the high volume of packages that the USPS will handle, those dates will likely not be accurate and an additional one or two days will be necessary. Note that there is no guarantee with USPS and you are better off selecting UPS Ground or AIR for the most reliable delivery time frame.

UPS Ground
Place order by December 18. UPS Ground normally takes four to five days from our location to the east and west coasts. UPS will see an increase in volume that could cause the time frames to be extended.

UPS 2nd Day Air
Place order by December 19. UPS generally guarantees 2nd Day Air but we don't recommend taking chances. If an order ships December 19 via 2nd Day Air, the earliest it will be delivered is December 24 because weekend days aren't considered in the transit time. UPS will have a massive volume of packages being delivered on Christmas Eve and if you need the package by a certain time of the day, order before December 19 or ship Next Day Air.

UPS Next Day Air
Place order by December 20. We will ship orders on December 23 but we highly doubt they will be delivered on December 24 even with Next Day Air.

Firearm Purchases
We recommend calling and verifying the orders of your receiving FFL if you are purchasing a firearm. Many close early and have extended vacations near Christmas and may not be open December 23 and 24. Also, with the carriers delivering later in the day (UPS delivers as late as 9PM), make sure your receiving dealer will be able to receive the shipment.

OCG Order Processing Time Frames
We try to offer the fastest order processing that we can. We normally require one business day to process and ship an order from the time the order is placed. This can be extended during high volume times. Also note that we cannot ship firearms unless we have the license for the receiving dealer on hand. If you are purchasing a firearm, ensure your receiving dealer can send his FFL to us promptly if we do not have it on file.

Sig Sauer just started shipping their new 2020 catalogs and we received a few today!

We sliced one up and ran it through our scanner so that we could share it with you!

There are a few new models we didn't see previously and are in the new catalog!

First is the XCarry Tacops (320XCA-9-13AXR3-TACOPS-TB). This model features XRay3 night sights and the rear sight is adjustable. It has an X-Series grip with magazine well and threaded barrel.

There are new suppressors! We expected there would be new releases since most of the 2019 models were discontinued. The four models are SLX762-QD, SLX762, SLX556-QD and SLX556. For those keeping track, these are basically the third generations of Sig suppressors with SIG-SD being the first, SRD being the second and SLX being the third.

The MODX-9 and MODX-45 are Sig's two modular pistol suppressors.

The 716 line is getting a DI 7.62x51 in the 716 Tread rifle.

Along with the 716 Tread, there is a new M400 Tread called the Tread Coil. The Tread Coil is shipping with nearly all of the popular Tread accessory upgrades pre-installed

The Cross Rifle is Sig's new bolt action rifle. There are a few variants offered. The calibers include .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, and 277 Fury. For the camo model, part numbers are CROSS-308-16B-FLC, CROSS-65-18B-FLC. For the black version, part numbers are CROSS-308-16B, CROSS-65-18B and CROSS-277-16B. We are told the Cross rifles won't start shipping until around the summer of 2020.

The Echo3 is replacing the Echo1 line.
It has a 10 degree field of view with up to 6x magnification. Part number is SOEC31001.

We've had a number of inquiries recently relating to a rumored M18 Commemorative pistol. We received confirmation today that there will indeed be an M18 Commemorative but there is very little information beyond confirmation of the future release.

We believe it will be released and start shipping between April and June of this year. Total quantities and pricing is not available. It would be logical to assume that both pricing and total production numbers would be similar to the M17 Commemorative.

We will post additional updates on this post as we obtain more information.
